The laboratory was installed (schools. year 2013 -14) at Panaritio High School using two operating systems (dual boot). The version of Linux used is 12.04 (Precise) Ubuntu with LTSP technology that makes it possible to boot workstations over a network without having to install anything on their local disk. Sch-Schripts software has also been used for automatic installation of educational programs.
The advantages of this technology are many such as utilizing obsolete equipment, homogeneous environment, use of free software, Central Management by server, Immediate installation and addition of workstations.
